You have been asking for it, and it is almost here.
Our new Bearifi Outdoor AC features the same weather resistant case and high gain 10 dBi directional panel antenna as our original Bearifi BearExtender Outdoor model, and also features dual band 2.4/5GHz 802.11ac capability as well.
So if you are at a campground that offers 5 GHz capability, you can now connect with Bearifi Outdoor AC for maximum Wi-Fi transmission speeds.
Bearifi Outdoor AC is an 802.11ac compliant dual band, high powered Wi-Fi receiver. It is recommended for use in outdoor situations where you need 5 Ghz or 802.11ac speed capability. If you plan to use only with an 802.11n 2.4 GHz network, we still recommend the original BearExtender Outdoor, which is not dual band, but has the best overall range to 2.4 GHz networks. This is because the FCC limits dual band power more than single band power, so while our Bearifi Outdoor AC offers the best overall range for 5 GHz networks among competing devices, it cannot go as far on 2.4 GHz as our original BearExtender Outdoor model.
